Collegesaurus is run by volunteers, and anyone can help keep it accurate. You don't need to know how to code, and most of the options below take less than five minutes.
Read the source
Every page on this site is generated from a folder on Google Drive,
and we rebuild the site from it every morning around 7 AM Beirut time.
You can browse that folder yourself. Every university and
scholarship lives there as a plain .docx or .xlsx file.
It's open for reading without signing in. To make changes, see Become a regular contributor below.
Spotted something wrong?
If a tuition figure looks off, a deadline has shifted, a contact has moved, or anything else doesn't add up, tell us. You don't have to fix it yourself; just point at what's wrong and where you saw better information.
Missing a scholarship or university?
If you know of a scholarship Lebanese students can apply to, or a school that should be on the site, you can add it directly. You'll download a small template, fill it in, and upload it through the form.
- A new scholarship needs two files —
info.docx(English) andinfo.ar.docx(Arabic). These hold the prose page itself — overview, requirements, deadlines, and contacts — one per language. Templates: scholarship templates folder. - A new university needs four files —
info.docx,info.ar.docx,majors.xlsx, andmajors.ar.xlsx. Theinfo.*files are the prose page (English and Arabic); themajors.*files are the spreadsheet of degree programmes, one row per major (English and Arabic). Templates: university templates folder.
Template structure is strict
The morning sync parses these files automatically, so don't reshape the templates.
- Every
info.docxstarts with a# MetadataH1 followed by a key/value table. - For university
info.docx, the H1 sections must appear in this exact order:Introduction,Application,Tuition,Scholarships,Requirements,Contacts. - For scholarship
info.docx, only the# Metadatablock is fixed. You can rename, reorder, add, or remove the other H1 sections. majors.xlsxmust keep its column headers.program, degree, andfacultyare required.
Uploading files requires you to sign in with Google.
